(1) Can anyone sign up for an account?
Anyone from around the world over the age of 13 may sign up as a member. We ONLY Except ENGLISH sites.
(2) How long does it take to set up my account?
Your account is active as soon as you complete the signup process. Share-traffic will send you a welcoming email containing your randomly generated password for your account.
(3) Can I have more than one account?
No you are limited to one account.
(4) Why must I “Activate” my Sharetraffic account?
To help prevent automated, multiple signups and to confirm your email address so we can reach you with any important news about our service. It’s best to use an email address you check often, so you don’t miss news of vital interest. We will not bombard you with junk mail. You may receive up to 2 emails per week.
(5) How do I earn credits?
Surfing for credits (veiwing websites for credits) earns you credits. 1 credit earned equals 1 page view for your website on our system.
(6) Explain “credits” and why in my stats area I see “partial” credits?
Credits relate to the number of times you view other member’s pages or your own webpages are viewed. Every time you open your browser (or use your surf for hits link) and wait at least 20 seconds (or a downline member does) our system validates a series of partial credits which correspond to our current ratio. For example, a 2 to 1 ratio (such as the ratio we give to you personally) means that you would have to view 2 web pages to receive 1 credit. This translates into 0.5 credits for each page view. Also, your downline member bonus is 25%. So every page they view gives you 0.25 credits. When your webpage is viewed by another member, 1 credit is deducted from your account.
(7) How come I never see my webpage?
You don’t want to waste credits looking at your own site do you? You will never see your own site, but rest assured 100’s of other members will. (If you surf for credits regularly, Many 1000’s!)
(8) How do I set my browser’s Start Page?
Login to your account and click the link on the right hand side to set Share-Traffic.com as your startpage
(9) I can’t log in, the LogIn screen just keeps appearing, what do I do?
This means there is no account with the ID and/or password you are entering into our LogIn form. This can happen because of three reasons:
1) you made a mistake in typing your ID or password (IDs are lowercase only);
2) you did not activate your account within 48 hours after signing up;
3) your account has been removed without notice for violating any part of our terms of service agreement.
(10) What is all this referral stuff and referral bonuses?
Please see our detailed Referral Information page. Your needed referral link is included in your welcome email and your member area.
(11) How fast are my credits used up?
The time it will take to use up your credits will vary greatly depending on: the number of members in the system, the amount of traffic they are generating, and the speed at which you are earning credits to replace those used up.
(12) What happens if I run out of credits?
Once you run out of credits your page is no longer displayed. You can either start to earn more credits for free or, in the near future you can purchase credits directly from the site very inexpensively.
(13) I was surfing for credits and the surf frame disappeared?
Some sites are frame breaking sites and need to be reported to Share-Traffic anytime they are encounted. These sites break out of the Surf frame and stop the surfing process and stop you earning credits.
(14) Why are some domains not allowed to be used in the system?
Various domains are set up to break out of frames when viewed. Some email domains do not receive email properly. If a domain causes a violation of our Terms Of Use, it is added to our Disallowed Domains list.
(15) Will you send me the email addresses of my referred members?
NO. We will not give anyone’s email address to anyone!
(16) How much cash must I have to withdraw money?
You must have $20.00 in your Share-Traffic Cash account in order to request payout.
